During the holidays, we celebrated our Orthodox Easter on 19 April. It was a very good time for me and for my family. My sister and I helped my mum to colour some eggs. We also bought an Easter cake. Then in the evening we went to our friend's house. The woman was prepared a really delicious food for us. We talked to each other and spent a very good time together.
Other times, I went shopping and bought some clothes for myself. I also woke up later and relaxed at home. I didn't forget to read the book that Marion gave us. I helped my mum with her English. We did some exercises together.
I enjoyed this holiday and it was great for me.

ANZAC DAY
ANZAC DAY is celebrated on the 25-th of April each year. It is a day to remember the brave men and women who have served Australia in times of war.
ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
Australian soldiers called Diggers.
Most of the famous heroes from World War I is Simpson. He called his donkey Duffy.
On ANZAC DAY we show our thanks to the people who have fought for our country. Families go to the march in their towns, wearing ANZAC badges and wave Australian flags.
The Ode is part of a special poem that is said during the ANZAC DAY service and people reply it with these words: "Lest we forget".
